LOUISVILLE NOW 7-0 IN BIG EAST

After a tight first half, Louisville blew past South Florida in the second half for a resounding 80-54 win at Freedom Hall.
After trailing just 33-32 at the half, the Bulls are Worn Down by No. 7 Louisville (Tampa Tribune) and a 27-5 run to start the half facilitated the process.
With the state of Kentucky battling some brutal winter weather, the Cards Add Thrills to 'Ville's Chills (Louisville Courier-Journal) outside, especially in the second half. Edgar Sosa hit four three-pointers and led the 13 Cards who scored with 16 points. Terrence Williams scored just 5 points, but had a game-high 10 rebounds and a game-high 6 assists. Samardo Samuels added 14 and Earl Clark 12 in the win.
Dominique Jones had a game-high 19 to lead USF, who has now lost 24 straight road games against ranked opponents.
